Ok I gave all my children beautful names that were all different. So why is it that I have noticed as they got older that it is not other children that make fun at that them but adults. I mean come on now how old do you really have to be to realize that you are not supposed to pick on people. No wonder were children get it from. So what if my duaghter is the only one with that name in maybe the hole world. Get over it. There are good points to nameing that way. You always know when people are talking about you example oh no we werent talking about you we were talking about the other girl named natalie not you. because if your name is oh for giggles lets say sunflower how many people are named that you would know they were talking about you no way to lie around that . Second when I call my children ONE only one child turns around not 10 little Natalies or 5 little Sarahs. Not that they arent nice names they are they are my sisters names. Its just a point. Why bother to name call. Grown ups need to grow up!!!

Making fun or name calling is wrong, period! I agree one would expect this type of behavior from children who aren't mature enough to think about the other children's feelings. I don't really think it has anything to do with the names of your children, rather the adult. If it wasn't the name they made fun of it would have been something else.
