Are you surprised by your responses?

I am. Sometimes I have a great idea for a discussion, others I start are spur of the moment and I don't think they have a great deal of depth. However, the results often show more people reply to the spur of the moment thread than the one I thought would stimulate more interest. What are your thoughts on this? Have a great day.

Mipen, I always have more responses for simple discussion. My simple, 2 years old discussion is somehow on the top now with over 800 responds....

That's true. Sometimes, discussions you're not expecting to receive a big number of replies is not usually as expected. I think people choose to reply to questions that are not really complicated. I experienced posting a discussion which is too technical. And only a few people can relate or is interested on it. Now I've learned that it is better to post something which is very common that almost anyone can relate and is interested to join in the discussion about it.
