Coffee does keep some people awake and perks up others. Yet some people drink it as a beverage. What do you think of this ? How does coffee become a beverage for some and a perk up for others ?

Who can resist the aroma of coffee? I love coffee. Sipping coffee at a restaurant together with friends and chit-chatting is the best past time. Of course, I do love coffee for another reason, that is it can keep me awake when I feel sleepy at work. Basically I have a cup of coffee everyday even during my pregnancy.

...it's just a matter of choice. Some people like Pepsi, some like Coke. To me it's both as a beverage and an energizer. I like my coffee because it leaves a pleasant taste which my taste buds appreciate. There is a hint of cocoa that lingers in my mouth...but that depends on the coffee selection.

It is all in what you like I guess. I think more than two cups a day is too much.

Some people even drink coffee all day long as a habbit. However, it is interesting that new medical studies are showing how coffee drinking can actually be beneficial to your health. Usually in these studies you have to drink 3 or more cups of coffee per day. One study showed that it could stave off diabetes, but that women must drink cream or milk in their coffee so they could keep their bones strong or the coffee could have an adverse effect in that area. Another showed that coffee drinking could keep you mind alert in old age. And if you started doing it later in life all the better. Interesting.

Yes coffee is a beverage. People drink it because they like the taste of it. But some only drink it because it makes them awake. But actually, eating an apple in the morning will wake you up faster than coffee.
