dumbest purchase you’ve ever made? For me, my dumbest purchase is buying a game for $50 and after only two days, the golden edition came out with two games in one for $59. I always hate this type of things to happen because it makes me so stupid.

The used car I have was in need of some engine work,so I left it in with my usual mechanic to get the job done..I got it back, but discovered He'd had to disconnect the battery at some stage, and this had caused the original equipment stereo to shut down, and I needed to enter a security code to get it going again, for which I had to phone the local dealer, who charged Me £20 for the code..and less than 5 minutes after I had the code,I realised somebody, presumably the car's previous owner, had scribbled that code number in the margin of the car's handbook without marking what it was for!

I boght a mobile once for 9000 Rs, which comes to around 220 US $. The next week the same mobile was offered for just 6000 Rs. for a week as a promotional offer. I feel like I was the dumbest person ever to live.

Wow, I'd have to say that the dumbest purchase I ever made is anything I buy on clearance simply because it's cheap and I MAY need it someday. Then I wind up pack-ratting it all and then having a garage sale. There's never any real purpose in my making purchase like that.
