At this point of time, Its really something that most will laugh at me. I guess atleast 90% of the people use cellphone with camera. You will hardly find anybody who does not use it.But there are exceptions also. I am one of them. still I do not owe the camera mobile. Its not that I can afford. But when I think that the current one is still giving service for 3 years, what is the problem with it?

I only have a very cheap phone, it was the cheapest in the shop when we brought it for me. Has no camera on it. It took me ages to learn how ot use my cellphone. I only need to phone someone on it not very often and I use it to text people. Don't really need to have a cellphone with a camera . Hubby doesn't have a cellphone with a camera either. He uses his phone less than me

Right now I do not have any mobile phones with camera and I have a phone without camera that cost me around Rs 1100 per month and it would be roughly around $20.

it was time for me to replace my cell last month - the one I was using was not working well anymore and the antennae had become lost. I found a phone I liked and it happened to have the camera, though the camera is not a feature I was specifically looking for. I must say the camera takes very poor quality pictures. but, I suppose it might come in handy some time.

I do not have a camera phone, haven't really seen a need for it. My s/o gave me a Nikon camera last Christmas, and it's rare that I don't have it with me at all times. When I do take photos I want them to be high quality since I normally print them. I also do scrapbooking and use a lot of pictures for that. He did just get a phone with the camera built in, he has only taken a couple of pictures and he hasn't downloaded them or printed them yet to see what the quality of the pics are.

when you have got a nice phone, then the cellphone mobile is not necessary as I guess.

I just bought a new cellphone with a camera on it a few months ago, but I don't use it. I don't want to use it, I know alot of people use theirs. I don't see that its a problem if you don't want to use a camera phone, keep life simple..lol.

Hey I also don't have a camera on my cell phone. so I'm one of them too. Hehehe... Actually my cell phones don't last be for over a year and due to some or the other reason get spoiled or do not work properly. So buying an expensive one in such a scenario is just pointless. Hence I have bought a cheaper cell without a camera now. My earlier cell had a camera with it. All my buddies tell me people always go up the ladder when they buy a new cell. They say your strange me see you coming down Lolzz.. But then when I explained as to why its like that then they said oh so there's a valid reason behind this.

when they are non lasting, its worthless to buy expensive ones.

LOL I STILL don't use cell phones. :) I have a land line because I need the Internet. I used to have a cell phone in the glorious past. It was given to me by my then boyfriend, who turned out to be such a skunk that I threw it away when the relationship ended. That mobile was a sony ericcson with a camera. :) I think I used it for a few months. Then I ferreted out an old mobile, a Nokia, lying around somewhere and used it for some months before I lost it in the concrete wilderness of Chennai. Right now, I am mobile less and happy. Cheers and happy mylotting

I have an Nokia 3100 Model and it has in it no Camera, or any voice recorder or any special features. But like you i am satisfied with it. Unless there is a need to get one, and if the extra features in it is of more use to me, then certainly i will go for it. Not that just because my friend has one, so i should go for a higher version than his/her. If i do so,then that is an act of greediness, and also un necessary spending.

I am still using a cellphone with no cameras on, to me, the most important use is you can communicate to people, in my job I go to a very remote area, there is only one network there so I have to change new sim and end up using my old cell though. It is practically the importance of owning a cellphone.

I don't see any problem if you're using a cellphone without camera because for me as long as it can use for any call and text and as well as i can receive any call and text its ok to use a cellphone or any kind of cellphone. Me, i have two phones one has a camera and the other is without camera. and i used them both...

I still do use phone without camera. For me as long as it work and people from the office can ring me and talk to me is fine. Its all just decoration really, I mean if you compare phone to a small camera now a days camera is still better and just so handy as a phone.

i own one with camera and another one without. even if you are not fond of cameras, there are really unexpected moments that you cannot resist taking a shot. especially for me when i am with my kids. they are so adorable that if go anywhere and i take them with me, i always bring my camera phone with me.

You can count me in that 10% who still use cell phone without a embedded camera in it. I am simple kind of person and feel just like you that if my present cell phone is giving me good service then why change or sell it and buy a new camera cell phone. I think till this cell phone is with me, I won't be using one with camera. Many of my friends make fun of me that I am still using a simple cell phone. One even said to me that I am poor and have no status but this doesn't mean I can't afford to buy a cell phone with a camera, I sure can but what is the urgent need in getting one. I have seen Apple Ipod which I like, I hope I shall buy that soon.

Well! i got 2 mobiles, one is nokia E61i, it's help me a lot with internet surfing when i am not at home, seldom use the camera in it. Another one is nokia 1110, i think this is the cheapest mobile and you will find it less in the market now. I'm using this more often for my daily communication,no camera in it.

i still got nokia 3530 & 3310 at home, but i rarely use it coz i got my nokia 6680 now. yeah if you're having those cellphones now, my friends or officemates call it JURASSIC, ICE AGE etc. lol coz your really out of the trend hehehe.. but the advantage of having phones without camera is the life span. usually phones like that have long life span especially 5110, even you throw it, it's still in good condition

I do use an extra fone that doesnt have a cam but is still GPRS capable. It's when my main phone runs out of bat. It doesnt really matter if my phones has cam or not, as long as i can e-mail and surf the internet with it. And the basic functions, of course.
