Are games only for kids?

I am 26 years old going 27 this September 25. At my age, I admit, that I am still into playing toys and games. I have here in my room toys that I bought during the years that I worked here in Manila. I have a number of gundam toys, the McDonald’s Cars Movie collection, a Superman action figure (a gift from my best friend) and a Masked Rider action figure. Also, I play two free internet games – Fallensword and Hitmanslife. These two are played through roleplaying. In Fallensword I am an adventurer, fighting different creatures and travelling across lands while levelling up to the top. In Hitmanslife I am an assassin, I “kill” people until I earn reputation and be one of the toughest criminal in a mafia lead world. Both enables me meet people from around the world while having fun at the same time. But with all I have it still comes to mind, is it still okay for people my age to be playing with toys or playing online games which are deemed designed for kids and teenagers? I mean, for you? I asked this simply because when I was still a kid I was not given the chance to play with this kind of toys and games, basically due to our state of living that buying toys is not included in my parents’ shopping list. We only buy what are needed that time.

There is not age limit to the games you play. Everyone deserve to rest sometime or another and games are there to help you relax and feel good about yourself. If you play a game that you do not like because of peer pressure and stress yourself about it, i will say just quit the game. Thus just play games that you like collect things that you love, in the end its your life and you choose your enjoyments. I will be 18 this year and i still play adventure quest and runescape because it is simply fun to play. I do not care what others say because we choose our games. Do what you want DWUW! :D you have my support.

For me, I love games and sports all along and will not give it up for anything. I love to play outdoor sports, indoor games, computer games, video games. Now that I have a one and half year son, I also love to play with toys with him. I do not think that games and toys are for kids alone. With age we continue to play games, but usually choose different platforms than when we were children, that's all. Cheers! Ram

Thanks for this parently response ram_cv. I realized that age doesn't really matter in almost everything that we want to do. Things do not always require an age limit. ^_^

There is a child inside everybody, but people just dont have the time to let it out. You are lucky to have the time to let the child in you out. I think it is alright if you play games, most of them do but they are reluctant to tell anybody. Have fun.

I think no.. games is designed for everyone.. Once i met a player who is 46 years old already and he still plays.. he even set his own server in order to play and serve other people.. And he's earning onto it so i don't think that games are only built for kids/teenagers.. Happy mylotting mate and play as much as you want

well, Happy early birthday to you! my younger brother is also celebrating his bday on sept 25th. :) in my opinion, i think it is okay for young adults or adults to play games. It brings out the childish side of them and stay forever young at heart! :)
