i've been thinking of taking a break from work and would like to spend it on watching movies with my hubby. although i could have easily searched the internet for top must-see movies, i would like to know my fellow myLotters opinion of what i should put in my list to see in my planned movie marathon. you won't believe how many movies i can watch in one sitting. so bring your lists out and share them to me :) no particular genre, by the way. i'd like to try everything at the moment :D

LOL! the movie was so funny and sexy!) about hard candy i'm not sure. is that the one with heath ledger? i have seen the one with heath. i'm just not sure if its candy or hard candy. tee hee.

Well, not knowing what you've already seen, I'd give this list: Atonement (great sweeping epic romance from WWII era, with eye candy for you AND hubby!) Sweeney Todd (if you can handle musicals + murder, then you'll probably enjoy this. It's slow, but intense, and Johnny Depp is AMAZING) Enchanted (who said Disney was just for kids? Amazing film, one of my favorites) Secret Window (also with Johnny Depp, a thriller based on...either a Stephen King story or Dean Koontz, can't remember which) Phantom of the Opera (Gerard Butler from the movie 300 SINGS! Very romantic. Lovely music) I could go on for days, probably. Enjoy your marathon, whatever you choose to watch!

Well, it depends on what you would like in a movie. If you're fond of suspense, thriller then I'd say watch PATHOLOGY. If you're fond of the classics have yourself a copy of EMMA, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. If you're up for comedy then go for DAVE, GET SMART, EVAN ALMIGHTY. If you like actions packed movies, go for the Chinese movies like KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, THE MUMMY (The new one with Jet Li), or grab a copy of THE HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS. As for horror flicks, I'm not fond of them that's why I couldn't recommend any as of the moment. There are a lot out there.

I agree with you. The Mummy with Jet Li is a very good movie. I saw it last week and it was very adventurous and full of action.

I recommend the movie You don't mess with the Zohan! It will surely put your whole world down because of stomach ache of laughing. Adam Sandler is very unique in his role in this movie.
