This topic may be considered as disgusting by some; but what the hey! I usually use a battery operated "mini trimmer" to keep the old nose hairs in check. (For those of you that are not already aware, the older you get the more hair grows out of pretty much everywhere!) But the little workhorse is broken it seems and not functioning properly anymore..... I have had to resort to plucking nose hairs for now. And let me tell you something..... I am sure that getting blasted in the eyes with a massive dose of MACE is pretty much the same thing! What madness IS THIS?? I think I may have to resort to wearing a bag over my head instead because this is just messed up. Have you ever done this yourself? Was it as bad for you as I am making out or am I just being a big pansy?

It was as bad the first time. I've got kind of used to it now. Soemtimes i get to sneeze, so can you imagine the mixed sensations ? Think I'm a little nuttier than you now ?

Oh? So you STILL do it??? FREAK! lol. I haven't made myself sneeze yet while doing it and will probably never get the chance to either as I will definitely be seeking alternatives! Thanks for responding.

This is the sort of thing most people only try once. Have you tried small mini scissors? They work great for this task.

I will try mini scissors then! Knowing my dexterity my posts tomorrow may be done with me having only half a nose! Thanks for the response and for the tip. Being a typical male with a quick fix mindset I of course never considered scissors! lol.

LMAO, James!!! Okay, so I am a young female and have not quite experienced this. BUT, my boyfriend is 10 years my senior and he has this issue A LOT. LOL!!! He will see one and pull it out or pluck it. Then he runs around rubbing his eyes and saying how much it hurts. As a female I have had my eyebrows waxed and that HURTS!!! It makes your eyes water and your brows itch and hurt...It may be the equivelant to pulling or plucking nosehairs. So, I think you are not the only one who thinks this is a problem at all. LOL!!! Thanks for the post :D

OK. So your boyfriend is a fellow pansy like me then! Phew! lol. I am happy to know I am not alone here then. Women wax, pluck and God knows what else; and in the TV commercials they are even SMILING while they do it! What's up with THAT?? Thanks for responding.

Well I have two choices really. Find myself another trimmer somewhere, or grow a moustache so I can hide them in it! lol. And I am certainly NOT growing myself a moustache! Thanks for responding.
