do they need to raise minimum wage in the us?

I would have to disagree with you on that. It hurts the people who are currently making a little more than minimum wage. Think about it, If you was making 8 bucks an hour then they raised the minimum wage to 7.50 an hour do you believe that the employer will increase your wage to to reflect the change, I guarantee the answer will be no. Now your money is buying less because all these companies have raised their priced to compensate for the increase. So you loose either way you look at.

It doesnt matter if they are making 5.15 or 7.50 they are still at the bottom and now everyone else who was above 7.50 an hour lose out. Simple math and reasoning.

I think so as well. I would hate to be a single mother or father trying to make it on minimum wage.

yes they should raise minimum wages.Its bad enough that being on disability pays even less than minimum wage.... i think the ones responsable for all wages in florida and many other states should have to live off of what we make!!! they wouldnt last a month!!!
