i have a 2&3 year old the way things are going in the world im almost scared to take them out trick or treating so i was thinking letting them go to a few family members houses and then throwing a little party for them and a few cousin and friends from the preschool any ideas on what to do for kids under 5

Get some orange and black balloons, table cloths, paper plates, cups, and silverware. You might even be able to find some Halloween lights. You could make or buy a pinata for them to knock down. Pin the wart on the witch(basically a Halloween version of pin the tail on the donkey) is fun too. Musical chairs might be fun or a Halloween Hunt like an Easter egg hunt.

sad isn't it? how times have changed ? every year our hospital does free x-rays on kid's candy. well, for a 2 and 3 year old they will be so wound up, that it doesn't take much for them to party. LOL of course, there is bobbing for apples, but only those with stems. and only in a shallow container. drawing pictures of scarey costumes. face painting. dressing up the dog for halloween. looking a halloween videos. like charlie brown or something gentle like that. MAKING your own video ! bean bag toss. decorating cupcakes with candy corn. it's a great time to be a kid !....

yes it is sad its not just the candy iam worried about its people flying down the rd knowing there are 100,s of kids around not caring if they come close to hitting them or if they hit them or even kidnapping and such but thosse are all great ideas we also live in the country so im thinking a hayride which we usually do for them at halloween but they may enjoy it more with other kids thanks so much
