whenever i am on my internet during the daytime at the beginning it will be really fast and then it will start to slow down the more that i am on it, and i don't know what to do because i have the fastest internet that i can get and i have ask them about it before and they said that there was nothing that they can do about it and it wasn't on their end, but i have tried multiple computers and it still does the same thing and others said that it happens to them, and i don't know what to do anymore, does this happen to anyone else? thanks for taking the time to review my discussion and i maybe replying to it, i hope that you all had a great day today and your night is great as well, have a great weekend as well, thanks again!

It usually tends to slow down as more people start using it and servers get loaded. You might get a faster speed when there's less density. Try deleting cookies and temporary internet files regularly. This might help a bit to improve the speed.

Yeah..It happens to every one who is using internet, even with me.Its the same with the fastest and the slowest internet connection. Its just a simple thing. When more client are using the server the server slows down and your speed decreases.Even when there are more users in a network this happens.Try one thing, use your net in the early hours in the morning or in the late nights. Then you'll notice the difference...Hope it works faster.Have a nice day..!!

Unfortunately there are bottlenecks in any system. Your speed is only as fast as it can be until it hits the first bottleneck in your ISP's network. If someone close by is dnloading or uploading a huge amt of data, it will slow your up/dn times. And then there are marketing gimmicks where ISP's slow down your speed on purpose to try to get you to buy their "special" tool to increase your speed.

It happens to me too, sometimes I try to post a response and it takes a long time for it to load, or I try another site and it takes a long time for it too load too. I thought it was just my computer I hate when it does this. I usually get off the computer when it starts that it is very annoying.

well, this slow internet speed has to do with the company itself. The millions/billons of people who use internet at the same time would affect the speed of the internet too. For example, in Singapoe, Singtel would some times lag too. No reason why , i asked my friends and they said the same thing. Second reason could be that your computer is heating up and could be hotter than it could take. Thats why people would have the water-cooling , hydrogen-cooling system to improve the processor speed (hz) . I guess processor speed affects your computer.

I think the thing you can do is ask the company who give the Internet service to check your line.

My internet connection fluctuates as well. It's fastest in the morning and late at night. I think it's just natural for the connection to slow down during peak hours. I don't think we have the same problem though because from how I understand your description, your connection speed slows down the longer you stay online, right? Just try calling your internet company and tell them about the problem. I noticed in the past that whenever I complain to my internet company, my connections becomes really good after a day. :)

this has somthign to do with traffic peak adnout peak hours...durign the day it is understandable that it will be bit slower than using the net during midnight or early in the morning... the speed varies realtively on the traffic thenet is producing...

it depends upon the connection speed!! it you start up early in the morning!1 then there would be some high speed connection cause most of the people would n even have switched on their net!! so your net speed would be quite fast!! as the day goes by! ans as people start using the net connection!! there will definitely be overload in the network!! and as a result connections will slow down!!!.. for me it mostly happens during the evening!!! around 6-9 !! accessing would be a problem!!

i think there is a problem with ur internet provider. internet usually slows down during peak hours and when u run multiple applications that consume ur computer's ram and hence slows down ur computer and eventually slowing down ur internet speed. check ur computer's perforamnce. if ur CPU usage is greater than 80% then u have multiple programs running in the startup or ur computer's RAM is not sufficient. check it out. since u say that this happens in many computers, check out ur internet provider too

There are times when the internet is slow or fast even though you are using the fastest internet on the planet. But there are times that there is no internet at all, always waiting to activate it again. It depends also from the internet service provider that you are using, I've content on my internet connection for now because my focus is mylot.

Not sure! I'm in a shared house and share the landlady's wireless connection. This evening it's been pretty good and stable, not really varying in speed. There were two girl lodgers here a while back and they loved to use the net a lot, when they were here, there were times when I just couldn't get on the net. I think they must have used up all the 'allowance'. One explanation could be, is that you go on when there aren't so many users, but as your time on the net passes by, more and more users come on line. It could just be a simple fact like this that causes your connection to slow down... there must be some logical explanation for it. Its like traffic on the roads, the more traffic, the slower all the traffic becomes... Hope that helps!
