I was wondering if you keep your laptop propped up on a laptop stand? I recently bought one and i love it so much. It makes typing and looking at the screen less strenuous because I can adjust the height to different angles. And the fan on the bottom of my laptop isn't covered up, so it does overheat so easily anymore.

I use a natural laptop stand that I lovingly refer to as my knees! lol. I have seen these stands and they do look like they would be very useful. Maybe one day I will look at getting one but I haven't really considered it seriously to date. Thankfully my laptop is still new so overheating is not too much of a concern for now either.

My laptop is a few months old too but I would always lay it on top of fabrics laying around in my room (not a smart idea btw. lol). In result it started to overheat very quickly. Thanks for responding

You know, I've never even thought of getting a laptop stand. I generally put mine on a cookie-cooling rack, I have one that my laptop sits on perfectly, so it leaves the fan free to cool without have to have anything blocking it. Although, now that I hear how happy you are with yours, I might think about getting one.

This is my 3rd laptop, so I'm defiantly making sure I take extra, extra care of it!
