The other day I heard General Clark on the radio and he was asked, after Senator Obama said campaing for president for 19 months gave him the qualifications to be president, if runnign a camp[aining made a person qualifed to be Commander in Chief. He tlaked about character, philosophy, service, but never answered the question. The question was repeated and he started in on the same things.
When Bill O'Riely asked Senator Obama if he would admit the Surge Worked in Iraq. Again it took several times before he finally answered the question.
When asked a question about abortion Senator Obama made the famous statement that that was "above my pay grade."

The fact that Obama does not know, or could even hazard a guess as to when life begins clearly shows that he is both unfit and too stupid to be president.
Of course Obama supports infanticide in that he believes that babies who survive late term abortions should be left to die.
Obama couldn't answer because he had no answer, if he said it began at conception then abortion is murder... if he said anything else then it still would paint him as a babie killer because of the way he voted on the issue in Illinois.
The problem is that he is still known as a bay killer because his vote was recorded and is now public knowledge.
In my mind that makes him worse than Hitler.
As to the original question, the reason there are no straight answers is because no one wants to say anything that might later come back to haunt them... in the case of General Clark, if Obama somehow did get elected, then Clark's career would be at risk... at least he would have made an enemy of the commander In Chief, which would not be a good thing for Clark.
