My girlfriend just bought a Wii!!!

So fun! My girlfriend randomly decided to buy a Wii yesterday...So far we only have the Wii Sports game that came with the console, and House Of The Dead...Both games are really fun to play...Anybody know of any other really good games for the Wii?
Also, are there any free games to download using the online wii feature? Let me know please!

That was exactly what i felt when my GF bought a Nintendo Wii console at home. It is so much fun playing with the nun-chuck and it is not like a usual game where you sit and enjoy the joystick, but you move and you really active.
The game my girlfriend and I really like was: "COOKING MAMA", "RAMPAGE", and if you want something more extreme you can play "RESIDENT EVIL" but if you want a conventional game where you use the nunchuck as the joystick you can play SIM something I forgot the name already...
My GF like the godfather game, and I like "trauma center"
you can choose, playing with wii is really funnnn!!

Thanks for the response! I'll look into those games for sure...Especially Resident Evil...I've heard that game is really good...

Yes it is a very interesting game. And the best thing of it, is that it is a two player game, so you and your GF can play the game together.. you can use the nunchuck as the weapon and it was really fun when my GF and I played that. Of course as you've known that the game is about zombie and it was really shocking moment when those zombie was coming out and you have to shoot them all.
Try it I believe you would get addicted to it

Not a big Wii fan myself, but people looking to get into shape really seem to enjoy the Wii fit thing.

I love the Wii. The games are not as good as the games you can get on the other systems but the play style is so great. I love feeling like I am part of the game. I also love the Wii Fit. It is a definate must get.

I dont have one yet, but im lookin foward to tryin out tha new smash bros. game. Also heard they did something new wit tha madden series on tha wii so check that out to. I think they have new tales of game comin to(g2 check on it), but if so n u a rpg fan, check it out(usually pretty good).

My own personal recommendation-Super Paper Mario
To answer another question you have: No, you have to pay for all the games using Wii points. You can, however, download the Nintendo Channel, Everybody Votes Channel and the Check Mii Out Channel free of charge. If you have a DS, you can play demos of DS games featured on the Nintendo Channel. There's also the Internet Channel, which costs 500 Wii points.

not bad a wii is a very great console hardly any errors on it, unlike the xbox 360, which i got happy gaming. happy mylotting friends!!!
