why are some people mean to animal?

I dont know why that is! Just in some folks I guess. We have a kids staying with us says he dont like dogs but if ours are in need he does what has to be done!

People who are cruel to animals are the same type of people who abuse children, they lack a sense of empathy and compassion for others and they have no concept of the pain they inflict.

Well I guess some people just don't have the heart. They are just plain cold hearted people. This animals they hurt have feelings and they hurt too like people do. They may be animals but they are living creatures.

some people are raised to beleive that they are somehow placed above animals, and can therefore use them as they wish, even if that means great suffering. they'll often beleive that the only animal to have a soul, and even consciousness, is the human ape. and of course this is not true, but having been raised to beleive it, the damage is done, and the creature thinks it is okay to abuse an animal, as it has no soul, and no feelings, and is there for them to do as they please with. and of course, some people are just monsters inside.

Everyone is different. I hate bugs, yet there are people who actually like them and don't understand why I hate them.

I don't know whats wrong with them either. I know a few haven't grown up around them. They say they don't like them and once around mine they fell in love with them! but I know what you mean. Hitting them with a car because they can. That makes me mad. I know not everyoe has a chance to slow down thats not what I mean. I mean speeding up when seeing one in the road. Whats next hitting a person?I also some people should never own a animal. Once the baby stage is over they get rid of them!Messed up
