We have all heard about paid to click, paid to read, paid to survey........ But is there anything such as paid to download? I just tried searching it in google and found a website which actually pays for downloading songs. Is it true? Do they really pay? when all other sites like amazon request to pay for downloading songs, what's the deal in allowing users to download for free and what more? - get paid for it. Has anyone tried this?

I would consider any site as very high risk. You may have anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc. programs and software. But if you're going to voluntarily download something that is very possibly extremely harmful, those programs wouldn't be any good. That and you would have to consider the time to download, how much memory it would take, and what the heck it actually is. It just does add up to be worth the time or the risk, in my opinion.

I completely agree with this too. We all can't resist a bit of extra income, especially us Mylotters so people like us are sure to be prime targets for malware, adware and virus's. (to the original poster) If you really want to make money from music, then i suggest www.slicethepie.com it pays around the same rate as mylot and you review each track after listening to it. It doesn't have a referral system but none the less a good site and similar to what your after.

Oh yeah... they do have programs like that. I too just found out recently and joined one to test it out. It is working like a charm. I have yet to reach min payout. But I am accumulating my cents as we speak. If you are interested, add me as a friend and PM me. I can send you the ref link for the one I am on. Like wise, you can send me the one you are on then we can refer each other.

You can only try it out i guess. thats my best Advice. Just watch out your not lining yourself up for a nasty spy ware attack. In terms of them running such a site, it's possible. I'd imagine the artists would be giving away most of there rights to the track however and you would be enduring lots of adverts and pop ups no doubt.
