for the men:do you still put sando/undershirt underneath your top/shirt?

I've always noticed this to some men, that even if it is hot, they always put sando/undershirt underneath their clothes. just like us, we do have to put brassiere underneath.. well, you already know why. so, do you put sando/undershirt first before your clothes?and why do you do so. thanks for sharing!

I think wearing a sando/vest help us absorb our body sweat. I feel it is better to wear a vest to protect our outer clothes e.g. shirt or T Shirt. I just cannot wear shirt, without wearing a vest. Vest give me a kind of protection. Vests are made of cotton, which keep our body temperature at an optimum level, in summers it keeps our body cool, while in winters, it gives us warmth. When at home in summers, I just roam around wearing vest in my home. You see all the shirts and T Shirts etc. are not made up of 100% cotton fabric, so they cannot absorb our body sweat and shirts stick to our bodies, if we wear it without vest, that not looks shabby but it spoils the fabric of the shirt. Quite an interesting post!

I dun wear anything under my shirt, because it's so uncomfortable and hot.. haha =D There are others whom i know, wears inside shirt, is because they are more comfortable and that they will wear cotten tank under the shirt, so that when they sweat, the shirt on the outside wun stick on their body, making them look so untidy ^_^ As u know, some sweat and u can see huge patch of their clothes sticking on their back, and it's disgusting right?? hehe

Sometimes I do put undershirt/tank top before wearing my shirt. There are times that I don't specially if I'm gonna wear a polo that is semi-fit. It looks sexy. LOL.

Four simple reasons for me. 1. It keeps me cooler, no matter if it's 100 degrees outside of 40 or 50 degrees. 2. Protect my top/shirt from stains from sweat. 3. That's how I've been raised as a young man; because of upbringing and childhood training. 4. I think it's supposed to be politically correct.

I have always worn a singlet underneath my shirt. It doesn't matter how hot it is and the only time I don't always do it is if I am wearing a t-shirt; but even with a t-shirt I mostly do. It just helps if you sweat and also many of my business shirts are light in colour and if you were to sweat (I live in a hot climate) then the outer shirt can become transparent.

My husband does not wear undershirts because he gets so hot. My son wears undershirts when he wears his suit or nice dress up shirts because he has such a hairy chest his hair sticks out of his shirt. I think if men get to hot and will be sweating they should not wear an undershirt.

Yeah. especially if it's too hot.. I think wearing undershirt will really make them sweat.

i only put undershirt when i wear my polo or uniform at office.i do it because it helps dry perpiration more quickly and less bad odors also unlike when you dont have undershirt when the perspiration dries you end up smelling stinky.and it also works as a backup when things go wrong like when it rains or you spill coffee to your polo.there is still your undershirt you can use to replace the dirty shirt.

zerocharly hi well I am female but my grown son always wears an undershirt under his shirt and he says I can always take my shirt off anyplace if I have my undershirt on and nobody will get out of joint. so thats his explanation for better or worse. lol

I would never wear a regular shirt without an undershirt. I just wouldn't feel dressed right if I did. Undershorts not only can soak up the perspiration so it doesn't mess up a dress shirt, but they are much softer on the skin than a regular shirt

yeah. I guess it's cotton that is why it is very much comfortable to your body.

you've got the point. but some says that it undershirts will protect your outer clothes from your sweat. but of course, it really depends on the person if he wants or doesn't want to wear any.
