Today my son and I were mowing the lawn on the rider mower and he fell asleep. It was so funny because his head just slumped over and he was out! You wouldn't think a two year old would fall asleep with all that noise but he sure did. What funny/unusual ways have your kids fallen asleep?

LOL that is really cute and funny. How old is your daughter? My two year old son is not potty trained yet but we are trying. It's not as easy as I thought it would be.

The other day my daughter hadn't had her nap by about 3:00pm, so I'd resigned myself to the fact that she wouldn't have one that day, and we were going to go out instead. I just sat down to have a drink first, and she came and sat on my lap and when I looked down at her, ready to tell her to get her shoes, I noticed that she'd fallen asleep. She never normally falls asleep on my lap like that, so it was quite sweet.

Yes, they really fight it don't they? So cute how he managed to fall asleep on a noisy, moving mower!

That is how it was with him today. He usually naps at 1 but by 3 this afternoon he hadn't yet and I figured he wasn't going to so I got him on the mower with me. It's so cute and funny how tired they are but they just won't give up to stay awake!

Son Dan age 14 ; These boots are made for hugging - He was sleeping with his farm boots on and after awhile he reached out and grabbed a pair of his brothers boots sitting by the couch he was sleeping on and hugged them tightly to him. It was really funny.
This next photo of my ten 14 year old son he had been out taking care of the cow and it was early spring with snow still around a bit. He came in and laid on the couch and fell asleep with his farm boots on. One of the other sons had taken their boots off and left them by the couch where my son Dan was asleep. We were all watching t.v and suddenly Dan starts mumbling and smiling in his sleep and he reached out and embraced his brothers boots. It was hilarous. He slept that way a few minutes longer until the laughter woke him up. Of course his brothers teased him about what girl he was trying to hug.

Son Ray age 16 - My son Ray working hard on the job by sleeping on the ramp rocks. He was actually dead tired from helping his dad all day and just sat down and fell over asleep. He slept that way for almost 3 hours nothing could wake him up. When he got up we asked him how he could sleep on those rocks he said he didn't care he was so tired. This attitude helped him later when he was in the army over in Saudi.
This has been over 25 years ago now. My oldest son age 16 had worked hard helping his dad build a ramp into our shop. After the gravel ( it was really pretty large rocks for gravel) he sat down and a few seconds later he just fell asleep on all those rocks. I went in the house and got a camera and took his photo. Here is the photo. I will have to do a second response for a couple more funny sleep positions.

Lol, that's funny. My son fell asleep on the school bus once. He didn't get off one day and I was frantic. So I drove to the school to find him in the principals office. The bus driver found him sleeping in the back of the bus after he parked in the bus bars and was sweeping the floor. Another time he fell asleep in his high chair with his face right in his food. He had to go to bed at 7:00 or he would sleep wherever he was.

Wow, he must be a heavy sleeper to fall asleep on the lawn mower. My son has fallen asleep in his baby walker when he was younger. Last week he fell asleep leaning on the couch. His head rested on the couch while his feet were on the floor. He didn't stay like that for long. I was worried he would fall, so I moved him to his bed. He is a very heavy sleeper once he falls asleep, but he also moves around a lot.

This next one is of two of my granddaughters sisters who were playing and both just fell asleep. In a jumble of arms and legs.

Once when he was supposed to be getting dressed for school my son fell asleep on the floor mat in the bathroom. My daughter is always falling asleep in her high chair while she is eating in the afternoon if she has refused to take a nap.
