Medea reporting a shortage of primary care doctors

United States

Have you heard this? That there are less and less primary care doctors coming into the field. Most are opting for specialized fields (some in plastic surgery). They are quoting most of the reason as being high college costs they have to pay.. and primary care doesn't quite cut it! [I wouldn't be able to tell that by medical bills!] I realize most things are covered by specialists, but do you think this will be a problem if there is a lack of primary care doctors? And also, do you think we are becoming a plastic society?

I think we are becoming a greedy society instead of worshiping almighty God we now worship the almighty dollar!

I had a feeling that would happen since you have to go to a specialist for just about everything. I think it will be a problem but we will end up with primary care doctors who do their job simply because they truly care about the people not the money.
