do you get sick when you feel depress?

i just want to know if depression may somehow cause us to be sick. if it is causing some negative effect on our health? just to be sure coz every time i got depress with problem i feel pain on some of my extremities if not prevented they swell and the pain is excruciating. how about you?

depression can mess you up so much, more them some think. it cause you to have aches and pain, make you sick in many other ways. i know when my depression kicks i just feel like crap all the way around.
don't want to do anything or be around no one. best of luck to you
