video and picture editing tips and tricks

How many of you can edit videos and pictures.... can you share some of your ideas or tricks in doing so... It would help me alot since im still starting. Thanks to those who would want to share.

I use photoshop cs to edit pictures. It is the best software for editing photos and images. Handles all extensions too.

im using photoshop cs2 its very flexible. can you teach me some of your tricks in photoshop?
