No more ptc

For the past few days, I've been unsubscribing at all the ptc sites I've been clicking away at for so long. My mailbox gets overloaded, and I was spending entirely too much time earning just about nothing! The problem is, they just won't go away. I unsubscribed my work computer about 4 months ago, and they still fill the mailbox every day. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these things?

Try unscribing again, I did it about 2 weeks ago and they have all gone, it takes up to 72 hours for them to get their computer up to date. LOL

Wow! I've been doing it for months, and they don't go away! I think I'll choose a specific day each week, and send an unsubscribe every week. Meanwhile, my delete button is getting a first-class workout!

I don't know how or what to tell you I am sure it is very annoying, I wonder too is it worth it for the little money we get for all the time we spend on these sites. I know no one is forcing us to do these sites. The only thing I can say is to just keep on sending an unsubscribe notice. Have you tried getting in contact with them through email? Is it an email address that you can stop using? I have several email address that I use.

I wish I could change the address (see above), but especially the one at work is inviolable. I'll keep hitting unsubscribe and deleting like crazy!

The ones at home are dwindling away, but I don't know how the ones I get at work started, and they seem to have a lot of relatives that step in there with them. My IT manager said they'd go away if I just ignore them, but that was more than a year ago, and they continue growing! They get in the way of e-mails that are seriously needed, like the one I received today asking what they'd have to do to get me to retire early. I love teaching, so they won't get rid of me without a fight, but I almost deleted the e-mail with the junk!

You probably should use a SPAM filter for your e-mail

Hey Cobra, I was wondering what happened to you. I just spent the day signing up to a couple of sites. Do you think you could send me an email telling me what sites you were on? I don't even know what these sites are all about but everyone seems to be trying to earn extra money so I thought I's try. I hope I didn't make a major mistake. leenie

Thanks catfish, I went to your site and saw your granddaughters catfish. Wow!! Good thing grandpa was there, the catfish might have caught her! Cute dog too. leenie
