Friends, i actually need help. Does anyone of you know the arabic word for nutmeg? Perhaps an arabic-english-speaking friend of your knows. I know i should post this under "arabic" interest but there seems to be 'no one' there. I have been needing and wanting nutmeg (for my cookies and other recipes) but even my husband doesn't know the arabic for nutmeg because he doesn't know exactly what it is, nor can i explain to him. It's just nutmeg, like cinnamon and other powdered herbs/flavorings. But what is it's arabic word? Need answers. :)

Thank you very much. I will text my husband now if he can buy "gozet alteeb," and i hope he'll get it. :) He is actually Libyan and though he speaks arabic, the vernacular here is quite different from arabic. Thanks!
