What is the coolest way to propose marriage to a girl?

Hi mylotters! Perhaps it is every person's dream to walk down the aisle with the one he/she truly loves. If you are a girl, in what way would you like your man propose marriage to you? If you are a guy, how would you say, "Will you marry me?" to your girl?

I've heard about proposing under the sea (couple loves scuba diving), I also know of a guy proposing while skydiving, then there's this guy who proposed ala-amazing race -- he sent his girlfriend to tasks and stuff before reaching the place where he's standing holding the ring.
There are a number of ways you can propose, but I think it's best if you propose in a way that it has something to do about your personality or your relationship with your girl. For example, if you and your girl love books, you can propose by slipping in the ring between pages. Or, if you like watching basketball games together, maybe you can propose by flashing the question on the wide screen in the stadium, things like that.

Lol, I think the basketball stadium thing is a bit over-done. I mean, it's in like over 2151 movies, and a few people have actually done it in real life (and I think I've seen a video where the guy was actually rejected! You don't want to be rejected in front of hundreds of people do you?)

Hi rakittera! LOL! I don't have plans yet of proposing to the one I love. But in the near future, if I am already stable financially and emotionally. I am just thinking of what kind of proposal will I do for my future partner. Yes, I agree with you. It really depends upon your partner. You have to base on her likes and characteristics. If she's kinda shy, like my girlfriend now, I would not propose in front of many people. Maybe I can do it in a solemn place with a very beautiful ambiance. But it doesn't really matter if you spend much or not, what matters most is that you mean "LOVE" to your partner. Keep on loving!

never really thought about it hun not really interested in the whole marriage thing. I think if it was to happen i would like something personal to me not necessarily if front of a lot of people just my friends/family. We have joked about taking a group of friends to las vegas and getting married by the king (elvis -well a lookalike anyways) with my pooch as bestman lol something thats suited to us instead of a party for everyone else that has no meaning or significance but is the traditional way.

Hi, dude, I am a young man too. From where I am standing, all women are terrific addiced in the feeling of being noticed by everybody. I do not think it is a not a good choice to propose marriage when there is no one else in the occasion to wittness the great moment. I suppose the best occasion is some expensive restaurant. You can propose marriage to your girl and say your love for her to everybody in the restaurant. Of course, it also depends on the character of your girl. If your girl is some introvert, may be you should think about another way to express your feelings.

I think if you are the right guy,no matter how you propose,the girl will say yes.so just do the ususl way,it's also romantic.Or add anything she like.
