tornado

Yes...when I was a child we had one go over our farm....and in the storm it dropped softball sized hail.....we had a roof missing and other damage.

I have only seen a tornado once in my life. I was 9 and we were at my gramma's. My mom and I were in the living room. She was talking on the phone and I was playing with my toys on the floor. She said to my aunt on the phone, "wow it's getting really windy." I looked up to see just in time to see the roof of the barn go flying past the window and wrap itself around a telephone pole by the road. She hung up the phone and grabbed me and ran to the cellar with my gramma and my sister. We stayed down there for what felt like forever to an 8-year-old. When we came back up, the storm was mostly gone but my gramma's neighbours two houses down had no house left, just a pile of rubble and all of their belongings strewn across their yard. I felt really bad for them. No one was hurt but it must have been very scary and sad to lose everything you've worked for in such a short time. My gramma's barn needed a new roof and she lost one of her white pines that bordered her property and the road. Such a small price to pay compared to their neighbours.

I have never been effected by tornado. Actually I have never seen it. Tornadoes are not tipical for a place where I live.

Well there's no bigger evil than a bad tornado, thank God I never seen one in real life only in games and movies
