FAT!!! (And I mean animal fat)

I just went to the store and bought about 2lbs of chicken breasts. I came home and proceeded to trim them down to probably less than a pound. I know I'm wasting money and food, but I absolutely cannot stand fat on any type of meat. It doesn't matter if there's the tiniest bit of fat on a piece of meat, I will find it and I will be very unladylike and spit it out (well maybe not quite that bad, I'll gag it down with a glass of whatever I have to be drinking). It's a bit embarassing really. If I'm invited over to a friends house and they serve a fatty piece of meat I try my best to eat it but I still get asked if I wasn't that hungry. I think it must be a sensory thing, because I'm the same way with onions...tomatoes...mushrooms. Yet I love the smell of these things and pour a ton of onion powder in everything I cook. It makes me sad when I keep tasting them and I still don't like them. Sigh. Anyhow I just wanted to tell you all the sad story of my dinner tonite.

How can you possibly trim a pound of "fat" of chicken which is very low in fat?? I can't understand this.
