Are you an impulsive buyer?

I am the kind of buyer who does not buy based on impulse. Before i buy something, especially if it's pretty expensive, I do some price comparisons from different stores first. Unlike my husband, he is really a compulsive buyer. He buys instantly whenever he see what he like. Are you an impulsive buyer?

Wow, that's good. Saving money is better that spending it but it is more fun to spend money that to make money, as the cliche goes.

I think not, because i always compare the prices and the quality of the products from different malls or store.Coz once i bought a table in a higher price then when i came to the other store their price is cheaper on the same table. So that's a lesson to me, so now i always do comparing which store i can save more.

I would consider myself a compulsive buyer. I really don't like to shop but if I am out in a store and see something I'd like to have, I buy it. Not real smart but do it all the time. Comparison shopping is not something that interests me if it means going from store to store. Have always been this way.

I am a strange mix of impulsive shopper blended with bargain hunter. If I see there is a big sale somewhere, I will impulsively but things I probably don't need because the prices are so good. In fact, I JUST did that online. But, if I see something pricey that I want, I won't just buy it, I will research until I find it at the lowest price. To me, it's a challenge, finding what I want at the very lowest price and saving using cash back sites and coupon codes. For clearance and sale items though, I will buy much more than I need just because the prices are so low. I know, if I didn't buy any of what I just did a few minutes ago, it wouldn't even matter but the prices were crazy low and so I took advantage of the savings. Now my husband will be mad that I bought more "stuff". lol.

I am to a certain extent. My thing is when I see something on sale, and I know I won't find it cheaper then I am going to buy it and lots more of it depending on what it is and how easy it is to get ahold of for that price. For example I use a certain type of after conditioner, and they stopped selling it in all the stores down here. Well I finally found it in a store when I was just browsing and it was on sale, and I ended up buying them out of 5 bottles of it. When it comes to food and things like that if I find something that I know I found find a better deal on I will stock up and freeze what i can and use the rest. So impulse buying in a sense, but in a better sense, it's smart shopping at it's best. Great discussion.
