How do differ the words EMOTIONS and FEELINGS

I just thinking about the exact and appropriate difference in meaning of the words EMOTIONS and FEELINGS...Which is mainly stipulates our actions. Do you have any idea about EMOTIONS and FEELINGS. Happy Mylotting

emotions is a wide word, which comprises of feelings. feeling is a big word..while emotion is a part of feeling or rather a amood of feeling.. feeling could be good bad,same as emotions coudl be good or bad..as well..not much to figure out...thou but discussion would be interesting...to read the replies...thanks a million for such a wonderful thought buddy.

well feeling is singular and emotion is plural to say the least.. we are overcome by our emotions when we are experiencing the turning points of our lives.... for once, i never get emotional with my boss but i always get a feeling to strangle him by the neck with my bare hands.. ;)

dude feelings are the subset of emotions.Emotion is a generic term.we call sum of all feelings as emotion.it may be good or bad.feeling are individual oriented.i may feel good under some situation but you might feel the same situation unpleasant so feelings depend on individual thinking.Emotions are common fro all.
