The dishes are dirty again, how do you wash them, by hand or by dishwasher? Or does somebody else in your family wash them? Me, I wash by hand. We have a dishwasher but it has broken down and now I don't even care most of the time if it gets fixed. It seems if I wash the dishes by hand daily it doesn't take me much longer to do it by hand than to load them in the dishwasher. I don't like doing them still but I'm used to it. I have also taken to getting audio books on cd from the library and listen to them when I do the dishes so them sometimes I actually want to do them because thats the only time I listen to my books.

I do not have a dishwasher so it is by hand. But I like your idea of listening to audio books while washing dishes, very neat.

yeah, it makes the time go much faster and I actually look forward to doing them if I'm really into the story! It's good motivation!

I certainly know how you feel. We just washed the dishes the other day and now we have another sink full of dishes. I've done dishes the past several times so I'm waiting for someone else to take the initiative to wash the dishes. We have a dishwasher and use that. We just accumulate too many dishes for me to stand there for 30 minutes or more to wash them. I feel like it's just a way better idea to put them into the dishwasher and let that accomplish the task of washing the dishes. Otherwise, I won't do the dishes because I hate washing them by hand.

I hate doing dishes so often. Here at college we have a dishwasher so I really don't have to worry about them as often. But at home we don't have a dishwasher so we have to do them by hand. We always seem to keep the sink full at home with dishes and usually when I'm home I do them. It's sorta meditative for me because it's so repetative. I still hate doing them though.

Ha, ha, ha - our dishwasher is broken too! So it's all dishes by hand. My husband does most of the dishes, although I help out a little bit (like yesterday and today). In fact, I was just looking at the pile that didn't get done last night that I will be doing after I get back from a meeting. But, dishes is my least favorite chore.

I wash them by hand. I hate doing dishes! It seems as soon as I get a sinkful done, there's more dishes already in it. I tried getting my mom to buy a dishwasher, but, she says why buy one when she's already got one - referring to me, haha.

I do the dishes myself by hand. We do not have a dishwasher so it is all by hand. My 83 year old mother cannot help me because she has skin cancers and cannot have her hands in the dishwater. I have a helper and that is my 3 year old grandaughter. She wants to help me so I find some plastic dishes that she can wash and she helps me. I still don't like doing the dishes and never have and I don't guess I ever will.
