When you finally found out the real end of the novel what were your initial reactions??? Were you amazed by the end? (since there were many harry's death theories flying around) Was it as expected??? What did you do???

I cried for several days! Thinking that I will never read another Harry Potter book makes me feel very sad and I didn't like the end. Well, what I mean is that I didn't like that Harry and Ginny married. That's awful to me.

Simply put, I loved it. I thought the last book was one of the best ends for any series. For starters it actually took a shape which was completely different from the way I had envisaged. Secondly, it closed every single open point in the series. Finally it had that Grand Finale like finish that such a good series deserved. The only negative for me was the lame way in which Snape was killed. I had hoped for a much grander finish for him. Unfortunately, that was not to be. Cheers! Ram

I liked the end because it kept me in suspense. I must admit there was a moment that I actually thought that Harry would die. I was reading and crying (yes, I'm a wuss), and then all of a sudden, he was alive. I think I jumped up and screamed out of joy. That being said, I hated the epilogue. It was very predictable and I hated the pairings. I think Ginny is much to plain (not physically) for Harry though Ron and Hermione could be plausible. I think it's stupid that they all had kids (Draco and his mystery wife included.) the same year. What a coincidence. Finally, Draco's son's name being Scorpius was just ridiculous. The icing on top of an incredulous cake. I think if J.K. had taken out the Epilogue, the book would have been perfect. Besides, I wanted to know what happened to everyone, not just the main people so it wasn't even a real epilogue.
