I Just Miss Two of My Dearest Friends...They Died.

This might be the saddest discussion I have ever posted here at mylot. I just can't help but to share with you the sadness I feel everytime I remeber the memories I of two dearest friends of mine who passed away (separately) in life's most unexpected ways.
The first one(Inday) was just like my big sister in college who happened to possess the most bubbly and funny personality I have ever known. During my second year in college and she was in third year (taking up Political Science), she committed suicide and up to now, nobody just knew WHY?! Just like anyone else in her family, I just cannot comprehend and cannot think of any reason for such an act because it was everyone's knowledge that she was showered with love and affection wherever she was; being the youngest in the family, being always at the top of her class, being the clown in our group, being active in all her organizations...what happened to her was just a terrible, heart-breaking puzzle no one ever solved up to now.
Grace was a very close friend of mine when I had my first employment as a language instructor in a school for boys in our city. We became so close simply becaujse we share the same wavelength and frequency when it comes to discipline, we were strict to the boys and we enjoyed our role (well, superficially, we were both clowns and light-hearted deep inside). I hope you can still bear with my narration, I just missed her presence in my life terribly! She's the godmother of my now 14-year old boy who was still 5 when she passed away. Grace had Lupus erythematosus and her baby girl was still 3 when she died. The saddest part of it was during her last days, when we should have said goodbye to her, she did not recognize us anymore. I just can't help but cry everytime I remember her because I have not know a frienship as deep as ours and was just shortened by life's phenominal death...

Omg im sorry to read that i never lost a close friend but i lost my grant parents a short time ago and i miss them a lot and the only thing i can say is the pain will get better in time and just try and remember the good times that you shared.

i'm sorry to hear about your story... it is always very sad when we lost our loved ones... especially if we are very very close to them... i hope you can get over your pain soon... i know it is not easy... especially when you start thinking about them... i wish you all the best... take care and have a nice day...

Thank you so much for your thoughts.Yes, I really find it difficult without their presence in my life now especially that I refuse to find their like in others, but with people like you who are so generous even at a distance, downcasted souls like me will surely find comfort and refuge.

Thanks. I have been praying the same thing for them. Yes, I have been keeping them in my heart and it might be one of the reasons why up to now I seemed not to find friends as dear as they'd been to me-- maybe my mind and heart got preoccupied of the memories we have had that it seemed nobody's going to fit into my casing, so to speak...

I so sorry that you loss these two important people in your life never giving you the chance to really spend the best of you two can have in this lifetime. i guess their time spent with you is already over in this world and sooner the three of you would meet each other at some point. But at this point in time there is nothing you could do about that but cherished what you had with them and continue living on with your life. What is left maybe pain but there might still be a message behind all these things to you. Why you still are living and going on with life. Maybe this is a sign that life is as precious as the ones you have and losing some is not an excuse to not go on living with what is left with you right now. I am pretty sure this pain would go away in time and life would go on with you without them. Love life as it comes and be prepared for this events as this is part of life.

I just can't help but to be emotional every time I remember such tragic moments..I know that I need to move on with my life with my loved ones now but there's just this longings and emptiness of people like them that I lost in the past. Thanks a lot for such an inspirational reminder!

Yes it sad when you lose those close to you, I have lost so many in the last few years but I guess it is a part of life, it is something you never get used to no matter how many times you have to go through it...all you can do is always remember them and be proud they were even a little part of your life...

I am sorry to hear about your friends. I understand how you feel. I lost my cousin who's younger than me to a crime and it's still painful up to now. I guess we'll both be living with empty spaces in our hearts forever.
