i have tried it maybe twice..but really i just like eating spaghetti with bread and not rice..its both carbo so im gaining double weight if i ate the two of them at the same time..it tastes ok but i feel really guilty so from then on i do not mix the two.

I have never even heard of serving rice and spaghetti at the same time! I would think that would be too many carbs at once, even if it did taste good. I might just have to give it a try though, just to remedy my curiousity. I wonder who first came up with this strange food combination.

As much as I love rice and spaghetti, I don't think I've tried eating them at the same time, in one plate. I don't think I will in the future but who can really say.

Oh my God, sorry but it sounds so..growse! It's 2 seperate things with 2 different tastes, and I would never even wanted to try something like this! If I want to eat alot of carbohydrates, I'd just eat macaroni with cheese, which had a lot of those inside! Where are you actually from if I may ask? cos' I'm very curious in which culture/religion these people are eating this food! Very interesting to know this! lol..

I have eaten that before and it does taste good. I know that they are both carbohydrates but I try to eat as little as possible. I love it when my mother cooks pasta. But then there are other times when that food is calling to me and I just can't help myself and I take a lot.

well, i see my brothers adn other people do that... i guess... it depends.. sometmes, i do, sometimes, i don't. rice tastes very neutral...so it doesnt matter much except it adds bulk to the hips and other places... wahahahaha... but that's my opinion... LOL...

No, not for me. Yes, in the place where I come from we do eat rice a lot that we have it 3 times a day. But we will not eat rice with spaghetti. We have another viand that goes with rice. Like fish, vegetables or meat. When we have spaghetti, we eat it with bread.. same thing all carbohydrates.
