How do I convince my parents that mylot is safe ??

First of all welcome to mylot. You first need to talk to your parents as to what is it that they fear from mylot and why they do not trust mylot. If their fear is privacy related, then yes, this is a public forum and hence whatever you type here can be read by anyone. On the other hand if their concerns are more on the payments from my lot, then I have myself received two or three payouts from mylot, so that is safe. Cheers! Ram

Are there an sites that review websites such as mylot? Perhaps if they saw elsewhere on the internet someone speaking about what a good place mylot is, it might calm their fears. Or they could read the guidelines on this site. Perhaps when they read the rules they will realize mylot takes great care in keeping their website in order.

Since there's enough help for you, I will share my experience here. First of all, I am also a student and my parents don't know that I'm mylotting. I mean they won't understand eventhogh I explain it to them. So, I keep it as a secret.

Find some blogs that give positive output on myLot's reputation. Would even help more if you can find credible news sources (surely they should be some?) Or look for friends or acquaintance of your parents who are active myLotters. I do know that alot of work at home moms love to go myLotting. Research and facts in huge quantities should make everything written in steal.
