Of course I thank people for their help. Why not? I think it's nuts how impolite and unthoughtful people are these days. So many people just don't appreciate a darn thing, and it is really really annoying after a while. If someone does something for me, I will thank them every single time.

For me it doesnt bother me,, i always say thank you but yes here in this place people seldom say thanks beacuse they have this feeling that they are in a higher class of person and never to bow to a servant.people who has a lot of money forget who they are and from where they are. saying thank you or a small gesture of gratitude is always a gold to a simple person who help us. Thank you...

Always, always, always Ohara. A few simple words of gratitude will always go a long way! It bothers me very much that the art of manners seems to be slowly disappearing these days and less and less people seem to be grateful to others and choose to be self absorbed instead. It takes such a small amount of effort too.

Yes. I always thank those who help me with anything. I help people too and they rarely say thank you or even acknowledge me afterwards.

Hi there Ohara_1983! I have noticed that there are more and more people who do not know how to say Thank You anymore. In fact, I have seen people who do not express gratitude towards people who have done them a favor. What are these people thinking? Have they grown up in an environment where saying Thank You is a crime or something? Just last week, a student of mine missed several activities because she has been absent for several meetings. She came to me to ask for special working papers so she can cope with the scores she missed. I asked her to get a readmission slip signed by the dean. If she's excused, I would give her working papers. After few minutes, she came to see me and handed me the readmission slip signed by the dean. So I gave her working papers and told her the instructions. She got the piece of paper where I have written down what she needs to accomplish and left. Yes, she left without saying Thank You.

No, I do not feel bothered to say Thank you for someone who has been giving a hand unto me and I would always try to let the person who help me to feel the sincerity of telling them Thank you in my own way....

Hi Ohara. Gratitude is a sign of good feature and mind. I always say thanks no matter what a person does for me. And I am always smiling because it is my way. I always have a smile on my lips when I say thank you in elevator, supermarket, bus, any place. I hate rude people. Some people act like if we have obligation to do things for them. Have a nice weekend.
