I really liked her when she first joined Miami Ink. Then as the show progressed, she started seeming like a whiny baby, spoiled brat to me. I was not sad to see Ami fire her and send her back to LA. I did, in all fairness, check out her new show LA Link and watched every episode. I loved the opening to the show and I admit she is a great artist. I still think she is a spoiled brat though. Fortunately, that has absolutely nothing to do with her ability as a tattoo artist. She still rocks on portraits.

I actually like kat and I am soo jealous!! . There was a big reason she left , she was getting lewd comments about her being a female tattoo artist. It did not go so public. I admire her very much . I think the shows are good and bad for the industry though. It is great because it enlightens the public more to views and topics of tattoos. The bad is that it shows a 3 hour piece being done in like ten minutes. I know time slots what not have to edit all that. Also more tattoo artist are rising and many aren't that , well how can I say this without being too mean . really wet behind the ears. This is a very ancient art form and one of the few that has been handed down through the generations from person to person . Anyways back to Kat , I wouldn't say she is the best portrait artist out there but she is very very good. She seems a lil eccentric at times and stuff , yet she is young and having fun . She is making a wonderful living at what she does. I admire her for that!

Ok, even though I do think she's spoiled, it sucks she was treated like that. I thought there were enough female artists in the business now for that kind of conduct to be archaic. I can understand how you women would have gotten your share of those kind of comments back when Kari Barba was just breaking into it; but I thought we had come a lot further than that by now. Ya just never know about some people. I see what you mean about the pros and cons of the shows. Knowing myself how long it takes to do those, it never occured to me that someone may think it only takes 3 minutes to do one but I get your point. And you have got to be referring to Yoji on Miami Ink when you talk about wet behind the ears! I think he's funny as hell, but I'm a thinkin' he needs a LOT more practice....lol I like Garver on Miami Ink and the new guy, Tim? Can't think of his name at the moment, senior moment. Hey, if you ever post any pics of your work, let me know. I'd love to see them. Take care, have a colorful day!

I never watched Miami Ink and I just recently started watching LA Ink. I really like the show. I like Kat's attitude and how she treats her customers. She really treats her staff (those there a long time) really well and she is trying to give Aubry a chance. I think she is very artistic too. I wish I could have seen the first season of the show, I'll try to catch the old episodes.

I love her. She's so badass, but she's still hot at the same time. And still a girly girl. I have a poster of her in my dorm and it's hot... I'm not even gonna lie. I love her work too.. its amazing!
