Anyone been paid the August Promo $10 yet?

I am very new with Associated Contect and last month they sent me an email regarding a promotion: Send them 5 articles/stories by the end of August and if they are published I will get a bonus $10. Well, I sent 5 stories and articles and even got paid upfront for all of them. Well, its mid-Sept. and I still haven't been paid the extra $10 as promised. They were so quick to pay me the upfront amount and I averaged about $3.50 per content so I don't understand the delay for the 5 published writings. I have tried twice to send them emails requesting information about how we are to be paid but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
Did anyone else participate in this August promotion and gotten paid? If so, how and when? Thanks for your help with this.

I thought about it but I didn't send anything. I did send a photo for their AC sticker contest, haven't heard back about that but I hope I win.

I wish I could tell you the secret of getting upfront payments. I am just as in the dark as you are. I did find out that my $10 payment is pending so I can relax more now. It's coming, just not here yet.
All I can say is to check out the guidelines and try to give them a lot of "meat" in your articles. The more quality you put in your work the more they will be likely to pay you upfront. It has also been suggested that you should check out what the popular writers are writing about and write on those topics. Good luck!

Hi leafy - just here for a few minutes and really don't know about your question as I didn't start until Sept but they were offering the same for this month. I've had 4 accepted and published for upfront plus have 2 pending and 2 more submitted so I should qualify for the $10 too. I'm also averaging about $3.50 which isn't what I was used to in the past but I'm having oh so much more fun writing these - not doing any research right now, just writing what I know :)

hi leafygreen, congratulations for a good job in AC. good all your articles are accepted for upfront payment? that's great!!! I like AC but I am inactive in there now. I am always short of topic to write. I just submit 1 article last month. I plan to write another one this next month. LOL. good luck.

Hey, I just joined AC last month as well and wrote 5 articles for their promotion. I read on the forums that everyone said the money should be paid out on the 10th of the next month and sure enough last week I received a payment into my paypal account. Depending on when you sent them the emails it usually takes about 2 business days for them to respond.
