Same or Different?

When you listen to music, do you listen to the same kind of music every time, or do you listen to different kinds at different times? I like different kinds of music, so it depends on the mood I am in what I decide to listen to. I have found that recently I have been watching the country music video station on the television, which I have never done before, and I have really liked watching the videos on there. But I like listening to different kinds of music and usually listen to oldies music but find myself listening to modern stuff with my grandddaughter of 13 years, and liking some of it. So, what do you do, listen to the same or different?

It always changes! I like every type of music. However, there are days when I just want to listen to metal music. So, it's always changing from metal to country to pop to r&b.

Thanks for the response, IrishRose. I think metal is one kind I don't think that I own!

I listen to all kinds of music. I usually have a set playlist on my computer and I usually listen to that but sometimes, depending on my mood, I listen to different kinds of music. I usually listen to rock music. When I'm feeling sad, I usually listen to slow, depressing alternative music. When I'm angry, I would listen to some loud rock music. But most of the time, I play the same playlist over and over again.

Thanks for the response. I think most of us tend to listen to the same things most of the time, but like to spice it up once in a while!

I like veriety. I listen to music to whatever I'm in the mood for and whatever activity I am presently doing. When I'm running outdoors, I listen to fast, upbeat music that would help me keep my pace. Or when I need to relax, I listen to slow, soothing music. It's different music t different times. :) Happy myLotting :)

Hi, there are times that I would listen to my favourite music over and over again. But sometimes I also like to play different music, especially when I'm cleaning the house it gives me energy. I think it depends on my mood but I listen to music everyday. Happy mylotting.

Hi CJay, and thanks for the response. I know what you mean about listening to your favorites over and over. I bought a jukebox that had a few cds left in it and haven't put my own in it yet and realized that I really like Bob Seger.......I listen to him all the time now since he's in there!!

I listen to all kinds of music. Music both effects and expresses my mood. If I am in a goofy mood, I am more likely to listen to modern music, if I am in a calm mood, slower music is for me. Some songs, or types of music strike emotions or memories. To me, music is what I like to call "mood food".

I like to listen to the soft instrumentals most of the time I drive. And that is the only time I listen to music nowadays. But there are time when I am high with a good news of great mood I go for the fast loud numbers.Again it is a matter of moods for me.

Thank you for the comment. I don't listen to instrumentals very often, but it is something I might have to try. Since posting this question I have been listening to country music more than ever because I watched country videos one evening and liked them and the music that went with them!! I think that many of us have music moods! Thanks again.

I listen to the same thing all the time. I really like what I like, and I generally stay in similar things. I guess that it really interests me that much.

Thanks for the response. Maybe there is someone out there that you might find that you totally LOVE if you try someone new, but it is cool that you like who you like. I listen to new people and find that I like them and didn't realize it! But that is me and you are you!! Thanks again!!

I normally listen to one type of music but every now and then I listen to other types of music.I am a lover of alternative because thats the kind of music that inspires me however ,there are times when I would like to hear something different. This is rare but not impossible to see me listening to R&B ,reggae, jazz and so on.I think I listen to alternative 90 % of the time

I'm not really familiar with how alternative is different from other types of music or exactly what it is, but since I have such a varied taste, I am sure I have heard and liked some of it!! Thanks for your response.
