When you are out and about and you find change on the road , in a parking lot , in a ditch , where ever , do you stop to pick it up ? What if it is a penny will you stop and pick this up or do you walk on by feeling it is only a penny ? What would make you stop to pick up change that was left around ?

No i dont' usually pick up change when i see it. If it is a dollar or a toonie then i might stop and pick it up but i don't need money that bad that i have to pick up change but my brothers and my sisters will pick up change when they find it they are much younger then me and it is cute to see how excited they get when they find change.

I pick up change when I see it but don't always pick up pennies or nickles. Anything higher then that I will stop and pick up. I pick up about five dollars in change a month and that is five dollars more in my pocket.

I do if I am short change for something I want to get but mostly no. I don't really want to pick up money unless it was a lot of money then I would pick it up. A dollar or more would make me stop to pick it up.

I'm going to be absolutely honest, when I see a penny I don't bother. Most times I'm just lucky enough to be out and about and as sore as I get I can't be bothered. I do make an effort and I do pick up change as often as I can. Not so long ago hubby and I were going into Sears and I said "Oh look five dollars." He looked but just stood there so I picked it up. I just hope it wasn't some kids allowance. I used it for Tim Hortons coffee for the trip home.

Hi sam and family...*smiles*.... We always pick up change...Most of it being pennies....My grandsons and I do it all the time.... Lately the boys and I have been finding change at the playground...They take the few cents they find, sometimes it has been as much as a quarter, and they go to the library and buy a book with it... We have a huge 5 gallon jug full of pennies...well it isn't full but it has quite a bit in it....*smiles*

I pick it all up. It all adds up. I have even found a twenty dollar bill blowing around in the wind. And payroll checks. I turn those in to the bank or whatever. I do the coins partly because of an email story about a wealthy man who always did, and told his friends that he did it to remind himself, because each coin, even a penny says "In God we trust" and so he was reminded that God was providing for him.

When I find change I always pick it up. It is going to do better in my wallet than it is going to do lying on the ground. Why would I leave it there when it could be put to good use? If you pick up 100 pennies that you have found lying on the ground, you'll have an extra dollar.

It's my son who is picking up every penny at the moment. He is saving for a puppy and is collecting any money that he finds in the street.

i pick up all money when i see it laying there on the ground. even the pennies. my motto is, if you are not nice to money, then it won't stick around. so i make sure when i see money laying on the ground. I pick it up and say thank you money for finding me. or somethings cute like that

I always pick up change no matter what it is. My hubby has gotten to the point that he actually will point it out to me if he sees it first so I can grab it up. It all adds up in the end. LOL

I always pick up change when I see it on the road -even if it is only a penny. I found 30 cents the other day in a parking lot.

I do not normally pick it up if it is a penny. My son will run and pick it up no matter what it is though. At 8 years old he is all about the money.

Hi, Yes we do pick up change as we see it, my daughter is in girls group and every penny we pick up goes in a jar and we then give it to a charitable charity. it's a find and pick up jar. so every year at the end we count it out and hand it into the charity and they love it. we have been doing this now just for a year and we continue to do this. and the girls love to be able to help someone out there who needs it and can use it. so yes we do pick change up when we see it, even if it is a dime or nickel or whatever, but for the group we add pennies to the jar. we pick tons of those up every day at least 10-15 Cents if not every other day.
