Which would you rather drive an automatic or manual. Why do you rather drive one more than the other. Me I'd rather drive the automatic than the manual because of having kids. If for some reason I have to do something with them in the care I find it would be safer. What do you think? Please let me know.

I would rather select the manual transmission because already get used to it since long ago. If I drive the automatic car, my feet will try to find the clutch pedal. Very funny.

I would rather drive an automatic my self. My husband was teaching me to drive our manual till he totaled it. He is a truck driver and drives a manual at work but we just bought a new truck and it is an automatic. He says the are pros to driving both.

I've driven both, although manuals more often than automatics. I do prefer automatics though.

I'd rather use a manual transmission... I have an automatic but I don't like it... Ever since I was old enough to drive, I've been driving manual & I guess I've gotten used to it... It feels weird driving automatic...

My husband would agree with you. When he has had to drive an automatic theres been a couple of times he'd go to shift. He likes the rush of driving a manual.

Previously I had a car with manual gear; I really loved that car - it was economical, and low maintenance. I had to replace it, as it was getting old (almost 10 years). The car I have now is automatic; it consumes more petrol, and maintenance costs more. However one good thing about automatic cars, is that it really helps in traffic jams, which I encounter almost every working day. At least my leg isn't tired out from pressing the clutch.

My husband owns a manual. I'm just learning how to drive. I've been learning using both and I prefer the automatic better because of having children. Thank you for you response.

i love to drive manual cars because you are totally control of the car.if in need to rush just lower the gear and woom it goes. auto has its benefits but not easy to maintain in our country
