So here I was thinking, what could be an alternative to water? Of course, it si an understood fact, that taste, quality and usability wise, there is no competitor for water, but letting our imagination go for a walk, what do you think can replace it in dire need? Happy answering!

There can be no alternative to water. Water is one of the main constituents of the body and we simply could not exist without it. People have been known to survive by drinking their own urine and even by drinking sea water. You will also come across people who claim that they never drink water but you will always find that they drink something which is mainly water or that they eat fruit which contains water. Man must have water to live, in some form or another.

Well you are right. In one of the shows on discovery, called 'man vs wild', the guy Bear Grylls has to drink his own urine due to extreme thirst. I do not know about sea water though, do they relly drinkt it? what are the after effects?
