What do you think is the best vector program? Many options, our old Photoshop, adobe fireworks, adobe illustrator, xara, corel and many more. My basic aim is to create beautiful, shiny and classy templates for websites, I got fireworks and started learning through lynda's tutorials [ www.lynda.com ] But suddenly came across some people saying illustrator is a better tool for all these things. That led me to ask this question. Am I going the right way ? Share and express your views, experiences and advices with fellow my-lotters!

Adobe Fireworks is the best tool for web design. Illustrator is best for printing works. But if you intend to create templates for websites you have to learn CSS with Adobe Dreamweaver. Fire works is good for quick prototyping a website and using vector graphics tools and its output is PNG or images. And for integrating images and you have to use CSS with Dreamweaver program your own.

I also have many confusion about CSS and didn't understand it for a long time. Recently I understood the concept. CSS is used to program the HTML tags like heading, table, div, lists etc. Its syntax is much like a programming language. Keep exploring CSS and happy myloting.
