oops, not all of us but most of us. We have User names which is either similar to our Actual name or something entirely diffrent like anything (Place, Animals, Things). Do you ever, ever want to know your friends actual name here in Mylot?? I dont know if i am being inquisitive but i have a friend whose name i wanted to know out of curiosity. I understand that we all are here to enjoy, have fun and earn money but this thought just came to my mind and i wanted to know if you too have ever wanted to know your mylot friends actual name!! if somebody asks you for youe actual name would you give it out to them, I know that i wouldnt!! But i dont know why i felt that it would be nice if we knew eachothers name.

My username came from the filename i made for the pentagram i created on the computer. The graphic sucks big time and my friends took it as a subject to tease me the entire day. They would say Modstar just to get my attention and tries to make me mad. Until the time i began to love it and now here it is, im using it now.

Although you got that name in a tease but it really is an intresting name. A Modern Star (Modstar). See it pays to be creative!! you got your name because of being creative!! :)

I've gotten in the habit of thinking of people as their avatars, if they have one, and their screen name. Sometimes I make up a name for them, since their avatar doesn't match their screen name. For instance, I think of you as Scheherazade, the storyteller of 1001 Arabian Nights. Others, like someone that calls themselves something resembling PikeFish I call a generic name (he is Sam cos he's in England) or another might have a blond in their avatar and I'll call them Blondie in my head. 
Sadly, it's not safe to exchange names on the internet. I don't like mine, anyway, so I'm content for people not to know it.

It is the same with me too, i am kind of very apprehensive about giving out my name to anybody online. I dont know tha exact reason behind it but i guess it helps prevent a lot of trouble. Wow, i like the name that you have given me.

I don't give out my name unless he or she is a friend that I have known onlne for some time. I prefer it that way. This saves you from a lot of problems afterwards

I too am very apprehensive about giving my name out to anybody online. Yes it does save everybody a lot of trouble.

Hi SangsTurks! Yes, it would be nice and I have no problem
telling my real name! In fact, I do know some of my friends
real names here on mylot and I was so surprised to learn
them! I have some of my friends actual addresses to talk
to them offline because my private messages don't work
from mylot so we exchanged our addys and real names! So
I was very surprised when I learned some of their names and
I'm sure that they were just as surprised to learn mine!
So it really is not such a big secret! I am using my
birthstone for October. I am a Libra, so my birthstone is
Opal! My birthday is next month, October 10th and my real
name is Leslie. So are you surprised?
