piercing can be dangerous?

does piercing cause problems to persons having it especially in intimate parts of the body.i don't imagine myself to have so much pain just for making piercing and even later when someone can hit you on it and make you bleed.do you think its dangerous or not?

I think it is unhygienci to do piercing in intimate parts. If the rings are not cleansed properly an infection can occurr.

The main danger with piercings aside from infections, is them getting torn out. I think the lower regions would heal very quickly although I'm not sure how much damage could be done if the piercings got torn out.
I've known a couple people who've had their ear piercings torn out. One their lobe never even went back together either. It looks horrible.

I'm not sure about intimate parts but I'm sure if it was a problem that body piercing places wouldn't do too many of them because they could be held liable for whatever happens to the person. That's something to think about though.
