Updating your profile page

Yesterday I updated my profile page largely to reflect my mood. My background color had been red for awhile, so I felt it was time for a change. I was tempted to go with a color that reflects the change of season, but I decided to go with a nice blue after giving it some thought. How often do you update your profile page? Do you consider it a boring waste of time or eagerly look forward to it? Before I learned to navigate the edit options well I hated changing mine. Now it is much easier for me and I don't mind at all.

If you are talking about just changing color, I struggle with that, so I just leave mine..but if you are talking about adding a background picture, I can't do that here and if I could, I would change it a lot..I do on myspace, haven't since I got my computer back, but will very soon, I am a changeable person and I liek changing the background on my profile..
I think in order to change the background, I may have to go to the library, because I haven't gotten any help either with mylot or the mylotters because the problem is probably my security..

Yes, I was referring to the color, carmelanirel, but I have seen a couple of profile pages here with the cute layouts. I have never been successful at doing that myself either. Before myLot changed the profile page nearly everyone had those amazing background layouts.

I had problems even before that, I had them back when I changed security in Oct or Nov of 07..If I ever had a lot of time and was bored, I guess one day I will change it, but not now..

I don't think of my profile page.The last time I looked at it, I had a royal blue background. I love that color so I will keep it that way. I don't think it is a waste of time.I just like to find the perfect thing for me and I stick it.

Out of interest, I went to have a look, Worldwise. I have to say that, though I love the colour of the background, it's very hard work reading anything. You should change the font colour to white (or, perhaps, a VERY pale blue) so that people can actually read it, LOL. The larger type (bold headings in black) is quite readable but the smaller tyoe is nearly beyond me. I actually have to select the text I want to read (when it becomes blue on white) in order to read it!

I have not updated my profile page in a while. The problem is that I don't have much time here since I have to do so much things in a little time. I prefer to spend my time here reading and posting.

I get bored with things easily, so to keep my interest in the profile thing. I will change it every few months or when I have the extra time to do so. It does take some getting use to, especially when messing with the html widgets, those things are the most stubborn things I have ever ran into online. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
Should probably get back in their an update things, since the last time I did was back in August, but have been busy, and recently been nursing an injured elbow and hand (leave it to me..lol!) so haven't had the time to play around with my profile all that much.
