Should fathers be able to opt out of parenthood?

There are a lot of people that say that it is not fair that once the women decides to keep the baby the father is automaticaly responsible for their part. They say that it is all up to the mother and the father is forced to deal with what ever decision that mother makes. So what do you think? If a woman decides to keep that baby and be a parent should the father be able to op out of being a parent?

My daughter is always say that if you don't want to build something then you should keep the tools in the shed. I tend to agree with her. Sooner or later play with the tools and you will build something. But at the same time if a man wants to take and raise a baby and the woman wants to abort He isn't given any consideration. but if he doesn't want to support the baby he still doesn't have any choice. Not fair I think. Don't learn safety rules simply by accident.
