Be honest now! Ever asked someone to pull your finger so you could pass gas? lol

Surely most of us have done this at some time or another in our life? We have either asked someone to pull our own finger and then burped (or worse! ) or had someone ask us to pull their own finger so they could do the same! Yes it's disgusting on many levels, but it can also be mildly amusing as well at times! So have you ever done it or not? Why do you think some of us find things like this so amusing?

yes i can't fart on demand though so i have to have one brewing i find it works best on older people or very young children and the louder the better!!! People at inbetween ages tend to know what your doing some still pull it anyways, i like to be silly keeps me young.

Funny you should ask...I did this a couple of nights ago at work LOL We are always doing stuff like that at work though. Last night, we had one of those electronic remote controlled fart machines. I had it in my back pocket, and another co-worker had the remote. Every time another employee would walk by or get close to me, he would push the button and the machine would sound off a loud one. It was all I could do to keep a straight face and continue with conversations. It was hilarious, especially when we finally let everyone else in on the joke. You would just have to be there for a day or two and hang out with us. After seeing and hearing us for a while, you would totally understand. LOL

Hahahahah! That IS amazing timing! I have beat you though goldeneagle and did it about one hour ago to my wife after having a big mouthful of lemonade. This is what inspired my topic! I know these fart machines you are talking about and I have to admit that if I had one I would surely drive everyone crazy with it! Your workplace and colleagues sound like a lot of fun. Thanks for responding and keep the humour always alive!

you can probably find one online. I know they sell them at SPENCERS, but I am sure you can find one elsewhere and have it delivered right to your door. LOL www.spencersonline.com just search for "fart machine" The black one with the remote control is the one we were using...it works pretty well and the remote has a pretty good range.

I never knew that you can pass gas if someone pulls your finger! In my country, people say that bending over will help pass gas. I tried it before but it never worked for me. So if I need to pass gas then I just wait for it to come out. If it's in there then it will come out eventually right? Haha! Very interesting though maybe I'll try the finger pulling next time. :)

Lol. It's not a medical or phyiscal phenomena mimico! Just a childish prank that many of us adults have chosen to keep alive and well! If you ever feel gassy and are having a few delays the bending over might be the way to go still! But once you know it's coming, have someone pull your finger at the exact moment and enjoy their horror! Thanks for responding.

Yes Shamzy! It's an old time classic that has been around for a while I think. Sometimes burp and sometimes something far more sinister! Thanks for responding.

I have never done that to anyone, nor have I ever fallen for someone else telling me to pull his/her finger. I am much to dignified to do something like that! Why do you think some of us find things like this so amusing? Because those of us who do still find things like that amusing have managed to keep a part of the child we once were alive. Most kids find any kind of bodily function amusing.

Never?? No of course not. I believe you! You Southern Belles are FAR too ladylike to ever partake in such animalistic frivolities! And I agree that it is a childlike glee that we keep when we find this stuff funny! I hope I never lose it to be honest because it's harmful and it is great to sometimes laugh and laugh with abandon even if it IS becasue of something so silly! Thanks for the comments Bo and hold on to that dignity tightly!

Well, I am a girl, and it isn't something that we generally do, but I know my younger brother is always trying to make our old unsuspecting grandmother to pull his finger. She's so old fashioned that the look on her face is hilarious when she pulls his finger!
