can we ever lie for a good cause? if our lies are going to help someone.as we know lawyers speak a lot of lies because of their profession.do you think it is ethical to free someone by speaking lies even if the person is innocent but all evidence are against him.

If a person is innocent and get caught will all evidence against him..then the person who framed him is a genius. Back to the topic about telling lies. I think it is okay for us to lie for the right reason and the right time. Sometimes we lie to not hurt or break someone's heart. I know it is best to be honest. But one cannot be too honest because sometimes it just hurts too much to know the truth.

No, it is not ethical to do that. Once one uses subterfuge it is no longer a good cause. In the long run this will just hurt the person. Injustice is a terrible thing, the the end never justifies the means.
