Why do people love to say "Life is short"

It's a famous quote that I'm sure you are familiar of, but I do believe that life can very well be the longest out of anything that is to be experienced. Life as an entirety can last on and on in cycles and the life of an individual may very well be as long as it can providing one takes care of oneself.

life is really short. from childhood to second childhood in old age.
shakespear names it as the seven ages of man. and life is a journey in which we have to do good at the stops so the people might remember us and when we reach at our goal we can have some memories to say that yes i have done some good

Because when we are having fun, it all goes to fast. We really don't want to die, we don't want life, as we know it to end. I think it just proves that we were meant to live and not die.
Others may say that to take risks in life or to do things that they really know they shouldn't.

Because it will end sooner or later , some might thing our life might end the next second that is why people say life is short yea .

Nobody yet knows for sure if eternal life exists or not..and an individual life..well try and remember your long life uptil now..it hardly takes seconds for you..to zoom,go back and come back..it feels like there you were enjoying plying games with your playstation and hee you r now reaing my reply!!Guess that's why they say "life is short" and i m completing it..."so enjoy it"
