do you believe in the bible?

out of all the books written, the bible is an exceptional one, making it as the most ever published book ever made, the most translated books ever have, the most controversial an the most debated book ever, for some this book is very much hated but loved and cherished by others, for some this book is made through human will and thought others revere this book as the holy written word of God, others this is just a plain book like the other book in the bookshelves others make this book their spiritual guide and inspiration, what can you say about this, do you believe the bible or not?

The strie in the Bible are obviously not true..but looking at it the way that the moral lessons they delivered..they are wonderful and much needed when it was first published..the common men's mind din't work like it works now..so it gave them somethimg to hold on to when they were in trouble and something to be scared of if they are wrong..
But to think of how it had been used against the liberals,scientists and women for ages makes me shudder..

i do know how this so called church people have used bible in the wrong way and i cant blame you for having that kind of impression for the bible..

thanx for understanding my point of view..i dont support the use of religious books to supress anybody no matter what religion..
But there are people who has understood the real moral of the bible and have actually not done something offensive...no harm is meant to them .....

I don't beleive in the bible.
well I mean obviously I beleive in the existance of the bible, but don't beleive the story within it to be the truth.
there may be some events and people that may have existed, but I don't beleive in the supernatural aspects of that story.

i am out of words to say something about your comment, but i do appreciate your response with regard to this issue, actually i am not surprise to know that there are people who really not believe what the bible is telling us, just dont know what to say...maybe thanks,ha ha ha

Hi Galena.. first of all i appreciate you for your bold comments.. many say that bible is first book in this world which had printed 1st in this world. so i have respect for bible. i am not a christian. nut i had read many pages of bible. i dont know whether those stories are true or not, mentioned in bible. but, we can take the moral, as stated by one of the users above..

I am a catholic and I am a bible believer. Even if people from other religion will say that it is just a book written by a person, I still consider it as a holy book because one cannot write it without holy intervention.

The BIBLE has never been corrupted but I believe I have no reason to argue with you. The truth is THE BIBLE has NEVER BEEN Corrupted and There's Proof! God bless!

i do understand what you are up to with regard to the post next to you..but this site gives all the right for his members to site their opinion and comments according to what they desire as long it will not violate any policies concerning mylot...and i do agree with the issue that the bible is not corrupted in anyway...
