yes on this day we celebrate the birthday of two important personalities from india. mohan das karam chand gandhi, known as mahatma gandhi , the father of the nation and lal bahadur shastri , the prime minister of india!! congratulations to all the proud indians!!

I remember the day India was free, I was a small child but my parents were so excited for your country. We are an American Hindu family so India has always been of interest to us. On our holidays, we say happy (then what ever the holidays name is) do you do that?
